The Connection
This conceptual portrait shares a glimpse of the sensual energy between a character and their unseen partner. The idea rested on a story that their bond and craving for one another was so strong, they’d experience this effect when viewing each other’s pictures - breaking through the two-dimensional presentation toward the viewer.
Printed on an aluminum surface for vivid color and sheen, a 20x30 print has been on display on the 3rd flood of the People’s Gallery in Austin City Hall since the gallery’s opening on June 3rd, 2022.
