End Summer | Enter Fall
I’ve been photographing the Gray family for 3 years. From their 10th anniversary commemoration to their holiday card, maternity and newborn sessions, they have always been open to collaborate and explore any vision for the current occasion.
In early August, I reached out to Adonis & Sabrina with the idea for an end-of-summer portrait. I could see the family sitting along the side of their pool, backlit by the late afternoon sun; a symbolic marker of the all the fun they’ve had this year in the water after getting the space it up and running. Sabrina loved the idea and requested additional shots for the same session of the family in regular clothes. The plan evolved into a great visual for the seasonal transition.
Coincidentally, negotiating our availability left us with a single day that would work - September 21st, the day before the official end of summer.
